GoodWorks Media Group is a company whose mission is to inspire, educate, and motivate people from all backgrounds and walks of life to do good works, particularly in the areas of the environment, education, and diversity. It utilizes different channels to share and teach people how to do better in these three focus areas. The company was founded on the principles of truth, integrity, and the inherent nature of people to do good. Its belief is that people do good in three ways: volunteering their time, providing advice or in-kind services, or by philanthropic means of giving financial resources.

Still one of the most powerful mediums around, television provides GoodWorks Media Group an opportunity to showcase people and companies that consistently do good works. The show examines what good is being done, how it is being done, and hopefully encouraging others to get involved. The TV talk show, “GoodWorks with Rahman Khan” airs on WTVI Charlotte, a PBS station.
Many times celebrities and leaders have inspiring ideas and words to share. They may not appear on the TV show, "GoodWorks with Rahman Khan" or with any other media. However, the interviews with them are interesting, poignant and compelling. Check out the GoodWorks Audio Lounge to hear them."
GoodWorks Media Group’s staff and volunteers are already active in our respective communities. You may catch us at our own events, such as our Town Hall Summits or Broadcasts taped in front of a live studio audience; or you may see us collaborating with our partners or organizations that support good works in one of more of our focus areas. GoodWorks Media Group believes that events are a vital tool to bring people together and share in the good that is being done.
GoodWorks Youth Awards is an awards effort developed to recognize youth in the region that are doing extraordinary “good works” in the areas of the environment, education, and/or diversity. It also honors an adult and a company who are helping youth achieve “good works.”

GoodWorks Media Group helps both small and large companies develop strategic plans for starting or continuing their community outreach and/or diversity initiatives. It uses communications and marketing expertise as well as skill sets in diversity training, recruitment and retention to build a framework for companies determined to do good works, while at the same time, making sound business decisions. Started many years ago as AR Khan and Associates, the company, now under the moniker of GWMG Consulting, also plans to utilize its various platforms (i.e. TV, website, events) to help benchmark what other companies are doing to be successful in promoting good works.
We also consult with government, non-profit, and educational institutions that have a desire to enhance its relationships with corporations, and wish to communicate to its diverse constituencies what it is doing to be good.
Rahman Khan has always responded to the call of addressing audiences on a myriad of subjects. His well thought out and poignant delivery has been an appeal to a variety of groups. Whether it is giving a keynote address, presenting at a workshop, participating as a panelist, or leading a small group discussion, Rahman seems to always think first of the audience and topic, then addresses the group with truthfulness and warmth.
Using his wit and engaging personality, Rahman has also served as a Host (Master of Ceremony), for many events including banquets, luncheons, awards programs, conference kickoffs, etc.
